Badger Pass Ski Area is located inside Yosemite National Park, 6 miles east of Highway 41 on Glacier Point Rd. Badger Pass is the oldest ski resort in California and offers the best cross county skiing in the United States, as well as some excellent downhill skiing. Badger opens in November and operates through March.

Badger Pass shuttle buses make it easy for guests staying in YosemiteValley to travel round trip to Yosemite's Badger Pass Ski Area for a day of fun in the snow. Parking is also available for private vehicles. The ski area is approimately a 45 minute drive from Yosemite Valley via Highway 41 and the Glacier Point Road.
Free Badger Pass Ski Area Shuttle Bus During the winter, the Badger Pass shuttle bus provides access from multiple locations in Yosemite Valley in the morning to Yosemite's Badger Pass Ski Area. In the afternoon, shuttles return guests to Yosemite Valley. View the Badger Pass Shuttle Schedule.

Badger Pass Day Lodge and Services
Skiers Grill: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily
Located on the main floor of the Day Lodge, the grill serves breakfast, burgers, pizza, hot dogs, soup, chili, salads, soft drinks, beer, wine and snacks. Snowflake Room: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily The Snowflake Room is on the second floor of the Day Lodge serving burritos, tacos, chili, soft drinks, wine, beer and cocktails. A Burrito Bar is available on weekends and holidays. Snowflake Room Bar: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays only, serving beer, wine, hot dogs, snacks, soft drinks. Sun Deck BBQ: Lunch available weekends and holidays only with the special of the day.

Badger Pass Ski Shop
Located on one of the best sundecks in the Sierra, the ski shop carries just about anything a beginning skier or snowboarder needs to hit the slopes, and equipment is available in the rental shop right next door. Gloves, hats, fleece vests, jackets and pants, socks, sunglasses, goggles and Badger Pass souvenirs.
Downhill ski and snowboard equipment for rent next to the Badger Pass Ski Shop. Cross-country ski and snowshoe rental available at the Cross-Country/Nordic Center across from the Day Lodge.
Ski Repair Shop
Provides repair services for skis and snowboards, including hot wax and tune-ups. Located inside the Badger Pass Ski Shop
Equipment lockers are available to rent by the day or for the season. Rent lockers for the day at the Activities Desk or ticket window. Purchase season lockers at Badger Pass or online at Yosemite Gifts.
First Aid Station
Basic medical care is available at the Ranger Station located next to the Day Lodge at Badger Pass Ski Area.
Child Care at the Badger Pups Den
Badger Pups Ski Program also offers hourly babysitting from 9am to 4pm. While in the Pups Den, children enjoy a range of activities and games, taught by certified babysitters. Children must be between the ages of 3 and 9 and toilet trained. Rates: $10.50 per hour or $64 for an entire day. Parents are required to lunch with their children.
