There are four ways into the park: Highway 41 north from Fresno, Highway 140 east from Merced, Highway 120 east from Modesto,
Highway 120 west from Lee Vining and Highway 395. During the winter months check current road conditions by clicking here: Highway 41 / Highway 120 / Highway 140. Always carry tire chains between November and April.
